Choice of headings

Choose your fabric then your heading, simple! Here's the technical details to help you decide which heading will work best for you and your room.

Eyelet curtains

Eyelet headings offer a contemporary look with soft folds. The eyelets themselves are 40mm diameter and are suitable for poles up to 30mm diameter. Available in nickel or antique brass colours they will coordinate with all decors and styles. The eyelets are evenly spaced over the width of the heading and have 30mm of fabric above the top inner edge of the eyelet. This curtain will arrive ready to hang at your window. Pencil pleat curtains

This versatile heading offers fullness at the window with tighter pleats and is suitable for both poles and tracks. The heading is 75mm deep with three hook positions. Pinch pleat curtains

Pinch pleat curtains have a classic and luxurious feel featuring permanently sewn in pleats and a 100mm deep heading, suitable for both poles and tracks. These curtains will arrive ready to hang at your window. Take a look at our measuring guide to see how to measure for your pinch pleat curtains.

Wave curtains

This heading offers a truly modern look for your curtains. A special track, provided free with your order, is used in place of traditional poles or tracks and is designed to create a neat, flowing 'S' wave in the fabric, from which this heading takes its name. The track has brackets that can be face-mounted to the wall or top mounted to the ceiling, and is so sleek and slimline that you can achieve a true 'floor to ceiling' look with these Curtains.

The details

All about fullness

The curtain with the fullest look is the pencil pleat choice and we make these curtains as double width guaranteeing a beautifully full luxurious look. Pinch pleat curtains have fixed pleats and although they look quite streamlined they are also double width. Eyelet and wave headings have more relaxed folds; to achieve this contemporary look we use approximately 1.5 width fullness.

Fully lined as standard

We line all our curtains, with the exceptions of self-lined fabrics, as standard. Linings finish a curtain perfectly, enhancing both the drape and fullness of the curtain. A lining will make the back of the curtain look almost as good as the front! Blackout lining is ideal for a bedroom while standard lining is an excellent choice for other rooms in the home.

Horizontal pattern matching

The top of each curtain is cut at the same point of the pattern so that the pattern will run across the curtain. (Please note that when the curtains are closed the pattern won't be exactly continuous across both sides of the curtain as some of the design will be hidden within the hem.)
